hello friends

i’m moving to portland in a few weeks! which is crazy. livin’ life. i also don’t have a job in portland yet. in the meantime, i’ve got a lot of stuff to pay for, mostly involving housing deposits and move-in expenses and shipping costs and boring stuff like that. anyway, this means it’s illustration commission slot tiiiiime again !

for the moment i’m opening up ten slots in my $20/$50 range.

  • $20 will score you a relatively simple full-color piece featuring one or two simple characters/animals/etc, fully finished but with minimal background/scene.

  • $50 will land you the whole package, a dynamic fully-rendered full-color illustration of whatever you’d like. i’m very flexible with this option, so feel free to request anything and i’ll do my best to provide you with a visually impressive end product. 

these are digital illustration commissions, not physical prints, so you won’t have to worry about shipping costs; they’ll be sent in a file size large enough to make a reasonably good-sized print of if that’s what you’d like to do. if you’re interested in printing a poster-sized version, let me know beforehand so i can work at the necessary resolution.

payment is handled through paypal so it’s quick and easy. you’ll only need to pay me once the artwork is done and sent over to you, and if you’re not completely satisfied with the piece, you don’t have to pay for it. (i’ll assume nobody’s gonna abuse that to get free art because we’re all friends here and that wouldn’t be very cool.)

i’m very flexible in terms of subject and style, so if you’re thinking about something and you’re not sure if it’s possible, let me know anyway because i might be able to work with it. i’m pretty solid at adopting other styles, so for example if you want something done in a certain animated show’s art style, i’ll probably be able to make that happen.

as far as content is concerned, anything goes. i love doing fanart, assuming i have some level of familiarity with the show/movie/book/etc, so feel free to go that route. portraits are a thing i can do as well. really, particularly if you’re opting for the $50 option, feel free to request literally anything and i’ll do my best to make it happen.

if you’re interested in a commission, e-mail me at vondell.swain@gmail.com and i’ll save you a slot. i’ll let you know what number you are so you’ll have an idea of where you are, i generally do them in the order i receive them. if you miss out on one of these ten slots, it’s a good bet that i’ll be opening another ten immediately after i finish these, so you might not have to wait too long for the next round.

I came up with the pun! (I was having a good day). But yeah, check this out :D
