This scene was incredibly inaccurate and infuriating.
But you have to admit it looked pretty bad ass.
the Doctor Who tumblr recently posted a series of images for colouring in; so I made a Sinestro Corps Cyberman because why not?
they have that circular chest piece that was begging for a Lantern symbol and the best position for them on the emotional spectrum is probably fear (I think they’re scary as heck at least)
It’s not perfect but for a rushed job on a train journey I’m pleased with it
My idea behind this picture is that it’s Saint Walker’s first day as a Blue Lantern and he’s really overcome with emotion about so much. He really would have gone on a complete roller coaster ride of emotions at this point, actually. He’d just lost his family, then his entire planet was saved, then he becomes a Blue Lantern and is literally wearing Hope, and then finds himself stationed on the most beautiful planet in the universe. I know he’s usually portrayed as very mellow, but I imagine that at this point anything he was experiencing emotionally would have been hard to contain. I also get the impression that he has a profound appreciation for beauty and in this picture, he is just drinking in the beauty surrounding him on Odym and is just filled with joy.:)
